Currently the leadership for AOKFN is grounded in self determination and those who volunteer their time. The historical injustices and deliberate attempts by the Canadian Government to eradicate us has caused the families to disperse. With on going research and our Nation building our Governance is grounded in the principle that everyone has a say and all voices matter. Therefore it is the intent of our Nation to have a Councillor from every significant bloodline associated with AOKFN.
